New Faces at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth

Following the recent appointment of its new General Manager Erkin Aytekin in May 2013, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth this month welcomes three new senior executives to the hotel.

Geoffrey Webb

Geoffrey Webb joins the hotel as Director of Sales & Marketing, responsible for both the business and leisure sectors, as well as the marketing and the reservations teams.  Geoffrey broadly experienced leader and hotel school graduate with more than twenty-five years' experience working in Australia, Canada and the United States. He spent almost 10 years working for the InterContinental Hotels group and most recently worked for Accor as Director of Sales & Marketing – Special Projects. Prior to that, he was integral to the Mirvac integration in his role as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing QLD, for Mirvac.

Jenifer Dwyer-Slee

Jenifer Dwyer-Slee has joined the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth to take on the role of Director of Sales – MICE.  A highly experienced executive who has worked for Accor for more than 8 years, including a number of senior Sales & Marketing roles within the group, Jenifer will be responsible for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events segments, as well as the Conference & Events sales team for the Sofitel in Sydney. Most recently she was Director of Sales - Business Events Australia, based at Accor's Corporate Office at Angel Place.

Stephanie Humphries

Joining Jenifer in the MICE team in the role of Business Development Manager is Stephanie Humphries.  Stephanie has extensive experience in event operation management and business development, most recently working as Business Development Manager - Events, at Luna Park Sydney. Prior to this, Stephanie spent 12 years working at The Star across multiple roles, which have included Business Development Manager - Events, Banquet Account Manager, Banquets Operations Manager and Banquet Floor Manager.
