PCO's get a Little Catty During their Weekend Famil at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort

Recently a small group of Conference & Event organisers from Sydney and Adelaide were treated to first class hospitality by the team at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort's Director of Sales & Marketing Jayme Cuttriss said the famil was a fabulous way to showcase the resort and some of the terrific off-site venues and unique Gold Coast

activities.

"Many of the invited guests had never been to Sanctuary Cove before and with clear blue skies and deliciously warm weather we were lucky enough to be able to show them  IHG's first Queensland property in the best possible light.

"The opportunity to showcase our resort as well as some off-site venues and activities makes their job a lot easier when planning conferences and events for their clients," said Jayme.

During cocktails at the Bali Pavillion overlooking the beach lagoon pool on Saturday night, a number of the guests commented on how beautiful and tranquil the resort was, and how it felt as though they could be anywhere in the world.

The highlight of the weekend  was an evening at Dreamworld which included a visit to Tiger Island for a special presentation followed by a Tiger walk through and photo.

Anne Kelly from Sane Event Group said the Dreamworld Tiger experience was something she would definitely look at offering her clients.

"We were so excited to have the opportunity to spend the weekend at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and visit Tiger Island.

"InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is a  beautiful resort and having Dreamworld only minutes away gives us the opportunity to offer clients first class accommodation and conference facilities and also build an exciting and memorable night time experience into our conference program," said Anne.

The weekend famil included a helicopter trip over to McLaren's Landing for some activities and a delicious lunch; a walk through The Marine Village Sanctuary Cove; a night visit to Dreamworld to experience Tiger Island, the Australian Outback area and Kung Fu Panda World; a golf clinic at the Sanctuary Cove Golf Club and a delicious lunch in the hotel's signature restaurant The Fireplace.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort offers a unique location for meetings and events and will soon launch their InterContinental Insider Collection which will provide a range of delegate experiences like those listed above, to help PCO's create a truly engaging and personalised meeting or event.
