Visitor Registrations Pick Up PAICE

217259All exhibition space has been taken at the Pacific Area Incentives and Conferences Expo (PAICE 2013) and buyer numbers are building steadily a week out from the show.

Being held at SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre (level 5) on November 13, PAICE has attracted exhibitors such as Fiji Airways, Adrenalin Fiji, Club Med, Exotissimo Travel Asia, Gold Coast Business Events and many more. New exhibitors include Conference Speakers Direct, Dive Fish Snow Travel, Hawaiian Airlines amongst others.

‘PAICE was officially sold out last week, with the last available stands being purchased by airlines, hoteliers and other suppliers to the events industry,’ says Stu Freeman, director of PAICE organising company ProMag Publishing Ltd.

He says a key attraction of PAICE is that suppliers can meet with business event organisers, corporate travel managers, wedding planners and other key buyers under one roof on one day.

‘These days people in the industry tend to be time poor, so meeting at an expo like this with highly qualified attendees means people can maximise their time and do business far more efficiently than if they were travelling from office to office on sales calls,’ Freeman points out.

However, PAICE is more than an expo. Event manager Allyssa Eastaugh says buyers and exhibitors will also network over morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. ‘The catering breaks have again been sponsored by Business Events Australia and it’s fantastic to have BEA back for the sixth year,’ she says.

Eastaugh adds that this year’s PAICE has also retained the popular Business Travel Forum. Andy Jack, general manager Flight Centre Corporate, will present a seminar on trends in business travel and the role of the travel management company at 12 noon.

An address at 3.15pm will have a focus on corporate social responsibility. Peter Baines, founder of the charity Hands Across the Water will conduct a seminar entitled ‘Looking for a WOW factor and sick of the fireworks? How to really build memories through a socially responsible programme.’

The PAICE exhibition, seminars and other associated events are free to bona fide event and travel organisers. Visitor registration is open now:http://www.paiceexpo.co.nz/visitor-registration-2013
