Garuda Indonesia Enhances Frequent Flyer Program

Garuda Indonesia, the airline of Indonesia, has expanded the Garuda Frequent Flyer (GFF) program to incorporate buy mileage, buy to extend mileage and buy to maintain tier options to its generous passenger rewards program.

Passengers can now buy miles, extend the expiry of miles and maintain their GFF tier while continuing to earn substantial points when flying with Garuda Indonesia and its partner airlines, hotels and tour operators.

Uun Setiawan, Vice President of Australia, New Zealand and South West Pacific commented on the expansion: “These new options allow for greater freedom for our passengers, and they are the first part of our GFF revamp. With seven tiers within the GFF program, passengers have a growing range of opportunities to be rewarded for travelling with Garuda Indonesia.

“Garuda Indonesia has also recently enhanced partnership agreements with several travel and tourism operators, including a new frequent traveller program with Swiss Belhotel and new code share agreement with Indian airline Jet Airways. We will continue to build out these partnerships for our passengers’ benefit” he said.

Following Garuda Indonesia’s recent cooperation with Air France and KLM, GFF members will now also be able to earn GFF Mileage when flying with two of Europe’s most renowned airlines.
