SPORTS LOVERS TOURS OF MELBOURNE This unique small group city sightseeing journey was the first tour launched. Melbourne is one of the few cities in the world where you can visit so many world class sports arenas/venues within a 6 kilometre radius of the CBD. As a former push bike courier and Transport Manager, Anthony knew the city inside and out and designed a variety of half and full day options allowing for all sporting interests.
AUSTRALIAN RULES FOOTBALL with Local Host The inspiration for this experience was realised while Kirsty was being hosted by Tourism Victoria at an Anaheim Angels baseball game in the US. She had a 'lightbulb' moment; "Why isn't anyone introducing tourists to our fantastic brand of football, AFL?" Melbourne Sports Tours hosts explain all the rules, bumps and bruises of our unique game in best seats in the house! Wrap yourself in a scarf, enjoy a meat pie and join in the fanatical love affair with our unique brand of football "Aussie Rules".
HORSES, WINE & BEER TOUR Melbourne Sports Tours have offered various regional tours over the past 10 years incorporating surf lessons and wildlife. This tour has been the most successful of all and is in now included in many Cruise and Conference itineraries. Relax and let our tour host drive while you enjoy the view and a few...Meet famous horses and enjoy morning tea in the Racing Museum/Homestead at 'Living Legends'; a retirement village for our favorite retired racehorses. Enjoy lunch & wine tastings at Gisborne Peak and beer tastings at Holgate's in Woodend.
MELBOURNE OUTLET SHOPPING TOURS In 2010, realising demand for a Melbourne shopping tour company, the team at Melbourne Sports Tours decided to launch Melbourne Outlet Shopping Tours. Shopping is a sport for many and provides a His'N'Hers service for many agents and individuals.
Melbourne Sports Tours have been delighted to host numerous travel journalists and travel shows over the past ten years including Catriona Rowntree, Jules Lund, Coxy and Tom Williams to name a few. We look forward to doing more over the next 10 years.
