BLUE Sydney Introduces Free iPad Air

BLUE Sydney, A Taj Hotel has implemented free iPad Airs into every guest room in the hotel. BLUE is only the second hotel in Australia to offer in-room iPads to guests as a service to enhance their stay.

Using the latest technology, the iPads are used as an electronic in-room compendium which can be updated centrally to amend menus and make announcements. It will also have the functionality for ‘pop up’ messages on screen promoting Happy Hour or other happenings around the hotel. image007
In conjunction with QuirQy, BLUE is now able to provide guests with rock-star customer service and answers on where to eat, drink, shop or indulge. Through devices installed in each hotel room, guests are able to access city guides with tourist information, giving
guests the opportunity to explore the best places in the city, browse and locate local shops, restaurants, bars and activities around Sydney.
Guests will also have the ability to surf the web on the iPad at no cost. BLUE’s iPads can be read into five different languages meaning localized content is available to all guests despite traditional language barriers. Blue will also have an additional five iPads at Reception and five iPads at WaterBar for guest use.
