Newly renovated Cape Panwa makes for a ‘suite’ deal

Not without a reason has the Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket hosted a fair share of the world's most famous celebrities. Personalities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Elizabeth Taylor and Pierce Brosnan have experienced the resort's exclusivity.

Cape Panwa with its luxurious yet casual vibe offers utmost privacy to its guests through its location tucked away on the hillside of a former coconut plantation with a secluded beach and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea.

The resort has gone through major refurbishments over the last years starting with the renovation of all of its rooms three years ago. Just last year Cape Panwa unveiled the fresh design of its vibrant, ocean-themed new lobby and the renovation marathon is continuing this year with the introduction of Cape Panwa's newly renovated pool.

The 'smallest' room type is the Junior Suite which is more than 53 square metres. Other accommodation options are the Cape Suite at more than 70 square metres, which are perfect for accommodating a family of 2 adults and 2 children with ease.  The Family Suite has 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms whilst the 2 bedroom Pool Villas have beautiful views and their own private pool. The Panwa Lodge is a private three bedroom house a few steps from the beach famous for its Sino-Portuguese architecture and interior design.

The crème de la crème of suites is the renowned 'Absolute Suite' – 530 square metres in size (including a 90 sqm pool) this penthouse gives 360 degree views over the Andaman sea over two glass-encased floors. A private spa and steam room, private lift, enormous living and bedrooms with sunrise and sunset ocean views as well as 24/7 services of a private butler and personal chef  make this suite the ultimate VIP experience. To top it all off Cape Absolute Suite offers complimentary privileges to reward those guests to stay for a minimum of three nights by offering a complimentary use of Mercedes Benz around Phuket and a complimentary use of the Panwa Princess Yacht (minimum of five nights).

You don't have to stay at the Cape Absolute Suite to enjoy the magic of Cape Panwa. The resort's offering caters for both families and couples with their selection of 205 tastefully decorated sea facing suites and six pool villas.

And if you don't want to miss out on the ultimate VIP experience you can take advantage of the opportunity of chartering a yacht for the day.

Cape Panwa Beach is perfect for year round swimming. Phuket's south western winds blow from May until October making the seas on the west coast quite rough. However, the seas on the east coast, especially at Cape Panwa, are sheltered and calm.

Cape Panwa's rates show that you don't have to be a movie star to stay at Cape Panwa – 6 night accommodation packages in a Junior Suite start from $702 for two adults and from $1,044 in a Cape Suite for two adults and two children.
