Webjet announces the official launch of its cruises product on its Australian and New Zealand websites.

Australia and New Zealand’s largest online travel agency will be offering over 4,000 cruises on renowned cruise lines including Princess Cruises, P&O, Royal Caribbean and Carnival.

The content is sourced from Cruise Republic, a leading online cruise booking agent in Australia and New Zealand. A dedicated team of cruise specialists will be available 7 days a week to assist with any customer inquiries.

“There is a growing demand for cruises in the Australian and New Zealand market and we’re delighted to offer customers such an extensive range of cruise options that can be seamlessly booked online”, said Managing Director John Guscic.

The Australian cruise industry is ranked number one in the world for market growth and penetration, with latest industry figures revealing a record 833,348 Australians taking a cruise in 2013.* Similar growth in New Zealand, with passenger numbers increasing by 23 percent in 2013 compared to passenger numbers in 2012.^

In celebration of the launch, Webjet is giving away a 14-night New Zealand cruise package on the Sea Princess to one lucky winner. The cruise package includes accommodation for two in an Oceanview Cabin, all main meals onboard and entertainment plus $500 onboard credit. Visit comp.webjet.com.au to enter. Competition closes on 21 September 2014.
