Centra Taum Seminyak Bali recognized as "Indonesia's Leading Youth Hotel"

Youth Hotel 2014 at the Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards (ITTA) in Jakarta

During a lavish gala dinner ceremony the award was presented to the Centra Taum Seminyak Bali's General Manager, Mr. Agus Suananda.  Mr. Suananda commented that he was thrilled that his hotel should have been recognized in this manner, and said "Being awarded "best youth hotel" is a good sign that our efforts to create a relaxed, fun environment for our guests have not gone unappreciated."

The Gala Dinner, held at The Ritz Carlton Mega Kuningan in Jakarta on December 15th, was a memorable black-tie affair, attended by travel and tourism industry leaders, government, community and diplomatic representatives, as well as local and international media. The Awards Ceremony was followed by a lavish three-course meal, designed to accentuate the message that top-quality food, presentation and service are goals that all industry members should continually strive for.

Located at Kerobokan, Seminyak, on the sun-set-side West Coast of the internationally-acclaimed holiday destination of Bali, the Centra Taum Seminyak Bali is within easy walking distance of Seminyak resort centre and the beach. The resort is intimately-sized, designed with a distinctive aesthetic flair across a total of 90 rooms, of which the majority are studios, but there are also duplexes complete with private pool as well as two-and three-bedroom units; each with its own spacious private balcony.  This serene yet modern complex also includes an extensive swimming pool area complete with sundeck and children's pool, while the on-site 'Cense by Spa Cenvaree' offers a range of wellness and beauty treatments, and body and foot massage rooms, plus the facility encompasses a full-equipped fitness centre.

The resort is also known for Taum, an all-day restaurant, which serves authentic Indonesian and international dishes as well as a selection of Thai specialties; and Taum Lounge, which has become a byword for innovative cocktails, and also serves wines and spirits and a range of other beverages.

The ITTA Foundation recognizes the kind of dedication that the Centra Taum Seminyak Bali has brought to bear upon all areas of the resort, and its awards are designed to encourage an ever-increasing level of professionalism and creativity in the hotel industry, which is currently the second largest income-generator within the Indonesian economy as a whole. The ITTA also serves as an invaluable learning and networking center, providing inspiration, ideas and advice to the entire Indonesian hospitality sector.
