Step up! 2015 Malaysia International Shoe Festival (MISF)

From glamorous stilettos to stylish sandals, classic pumps and trendy boots, if you like your shoes, then the 2015 Malaysia International Shoe Festival (MISF) could well be your paradise on earth!

Celebrating its sixth year, MISF is undoubtedly one of MISF is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most eagerly anticipated annual shopping events and takes visitors on a fascinating journey into the world of designer footwear.

Running from 13 – 15 March 2015 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, MISF 2015 will feature over 100 local and international shoe brands and is expected to draw over 70,000 local and overseas visitors. Held in conjunction with the 1Malaysia GP Sale which runs from 14 March - 5 April, it is guaranteed to add even more excitement to the already adrenaline-pumping 2015 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix (27 to 29 March 2015).

This year’s event is expected to be even more spectacular than the earlier editions, with an emphasis is on high fashion, and offering up an unprecedented opportunity to experience some shoe shopping, amazing bargains on designer shoes, and the chance to check out all the latest fashion from local and international shoe designers first hand. And when you get bored of playing Cinderella, sit back and take in one of the many fashion shows and shoe making demonstrations and shoe designing competitions.

And for some added spice, this year’s event will feature two special guests, footwear legend, Prof Datuk Dr Jimmy Choo OBE and New York-based, Malaysian international fashion designer Datuk Zang Toi. Both icons will be honoured with retrospective exhibitions of their careers at MISF 2015, and Datuk Zang Toi will also be staging a glamorous fashion show to present his Autumn/Winter 2015 collection for internationally renowned footwear brand, House of Toi.

Other tantalizing attractions include a Killer Heels Competition and the new Designer Pavilion promoting new local designers, fashion shows, the latest shoe trends, amazing promotions and much more.

Admission to MISF is free and the event is open to Trade only on the morning of 13 March 2015, and open to the public from 3.00pm - 9.00pm on 13 March and from 10.30am – 9pm on 14 – 15 March 2015.
