Sneak Peek into Australia’s Largest Independent Airport Lounge

Plaza Premium Lounge

A brand new Plaza Premium Lounge at Brisbane Airport has soft-opened, welcoming all travellers regardless of their airline or class of travel.

Plaza Premium Lounge, the world's largest independent airport lounge network, is transforming the Brisbane Airport experience for all travellers with the soft opening of its first Plaza Premium Lounge in Australia recently. This is also the first independent airport lounge in Australia that belongs to a brand of the global airport lounge network, Plaza Premium Group.

Located at level 4 of the Departures of the International Terminal at Brisbane Airport, the new Plaza Premium Lounge reflects the brand's philosophy to assure service excellence by perfectly tailoring lounge features to the needs of the travellers, such as enhancing the privacy of guests with its signature honeycomb seating, installing plenty of electrical outlets and providing complimentary Wi-Fi access to make sure travellers can stay connected while on-the-go.

The design of the lounge is not only thoughtful, but also innovative, combining rustic features with modern structures and fine materials. The carpet used throughout the lounge is imported from New Zealand and its quality is amongst the best in the world. Victorian ash wood from Australia is chosen for this lounge to create a warm and relaxing ambiance, which seamlessly complements the Italian marble flooring. Close to the reception area is the lounge wall featuring a series of 3D tiles that are inspired by the components of water, sand and minerals to reinforce the natural elements in the contemporary lounge design. The soaring windows bring extra charm by filling up the lounge with natural sunlight and offering magnificent views over both the innovatively designed terminal as well as the runway.

A separate spa facility adjacent to Plaza Premium Lounge in Brisbane Airport is being built and is tentatively scheduled for opening in Q3 2016. Seated massage, including head and shoulder massage, will be part of the Spa menu which will be available in the coming months.

A Grand Opening of the lounge and the spa facilities is scheduled for Q3 2016 – stay tuned!
