Plan a 'Shop-Cation' Road-Trip to Central NSW Before Christmas

Are you planning Christmas? Businesses in Central NSW are encouraging Sydney-siders to take a 'shop-cation' road-trip to stock up on quality, home-made gifts, and buy from the bush, rather than mass-produced goods from overseas.

Central NSW Tourism has researched the best boutiques, retailers, producers and Christmas markets to help you plan a 'shop-cation' road-trip before Christmas, or jump online and buy direct. The region begins just two-hours' drive West from Sydney and includes Oberon, Bathurst, Orange, Cowra, Millthorpe and Parkes.

Fill your empty boot with home-made jewellery, patchwork quilts, baskets, toys, antiques, bags, ceramics, clothing, honey, wine and relishes; and of course, the friendliest customer service.
