The Gimje Horizon Festival and Hwacheon Sancheoneo Festival, both of which highlight the value of agriculture and Korea's natural environment were selected as the two Premier Festivals. Sancheoneo Ice Festival draws over a million visitors every year to enjoy ice fishing, ice sledding and ice football.
Top Festivals include the Jindo Sea Miracle Festival, Icheon Rice Cultural Festival, Jaraseom Jazz Festival, Ganggyeong Fermented Seafood Festival, Muju Firefly Festival, Gangjin Celadon Festival, Mungyeong Traditional Chatsabal Festival and Sancheong Medicinal Herb Festival.
