Adelaide Property Debuts New Brand

SilverNeedle® Hospitality (SNH) launches its new 4-star brand Sage Hotels™ at the former 38-room Grand Chifley® Hotel on South Terrace in Adelaide today. With the brand promise of The Complex Made Simple, The Simple Made Special, Sage Hotels™ focus on guests’ desire for simplicity and convenience while delivering real value and responsive service.

Guests of Sage Hotels™ will receive personalized service of a consistently high standard with staff trained and empowered to make decisions on the spot. “Service is one of the key pillars on which the Sage Hotels™ brand is built on, “said Mr Iqbal Jumabhoy, Managing Director and Group CEO of SNH. “We also focus on Place – a home away from home-- where there is a sense of familiarity with products and services, and Community where our guests can engage with us and enjoy a level of comfort that can only be experienced among neighbours and friends,” he added.

Sage Hotels™ guests will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms, mini bar offerings at prices comparable to those of local convenient stores as well as laundry services comparable to street pricing as part of SNH’s Fair Value Promise. SilverNeedle® DreamWeave Sleep System™ is also available in all the higher floors at the hotel. All these combined make Sage Hotels™ an attractive and viable option for today’s modern nomads.

“We are honoured to be the first Sage Hotels™ property in Australia. It’s testament to the infrastructure development and confidence in the Adelaide tourism industry that SNH launched the brand in this city,” said Roger Law, General Manager of Sage Hotel™ Adelaide.

“Sage Hotels™ customers like to find everything just as they expect – no surprises, no fancy gadget, just a reassuring experience. This starts from the moment of booking right through to check-out. We are all about ease of use and the promise that the service will over-deliver to our guests’ expectations without being pretentious,” said Mr Law.

The Sage Hotels™ property location has been a part of the Adelaide landscape for decades and is already a welcoming site for many who have been regular visitors for years. Its location, in relation to both the CBD and Greenhill Road business hubs, makes it an ideal choice for the business visitor while the parklands opposite, the tram within walking distance and city location, provide a convenient destination for leisure guests.

Guests who make their reservations through the SilverNeedle® Hotels website, or directly with the hotel, will be enrolled into SilverNeedle® Select, the new frequent guest rewards programme developed by SNH, where they can earn $ilver Dollars that can be redeemed for a wide range of rewards.

The Chifley® Wollongong will be the next property in SNH’s portfolio to be rebranded to Sage Hotel™ Wollongong in August. This will be followed by the opening upon completion of a new build Sage Hotels™ in West Perth in 2016.
