MTA Mobile Travel Agents has scored a world first and in the process stolen a march over its opposition by becoming the first home based travel agents organisation to provide its consultants with individual, personalised websites complete with an effective e-marketing system and an in-built, cutting edge social media referral solution.
Commencing this week, phase one of the MTA operation has seen 80 websites going live across the country in both metropolitan and regional areas with more set to follow in short order.
The personal websites are fully managed by MTA's Gold Coast-based head office and, mirroring the organisation's main website located at www.mtatravel.com.au, also feature access to a full cross-spectrum product range and come complete with an online domestic and international booking engine.
Easily edited by consultants via a simple to use Content Management System (CMS), the MTA personal websites also incorporate an email marketing system and a state of the art social media referral system.
MTA managing director Roy Merricks said had proven an instant business hit following the initial roll out as evidenced by nine of the consultants' websites which generated more than 2,000 unique hits in the first 72 hours after going live
"Traditionally a home based consultant's web presence has been more of an online 'business card' than anything else but our new MTA consultants' individual websites have taken matters to a whole new level," Mr Merricks said.
"These are leading edge facilities which fully function as websites in their own name with their own details and product content - they will always feature something new for clients with 'Hot Deals', package deals and exclusive offers all part of the picture.
"There's even a welcome home email built into system that inspires clients to share their experiences."
"We are extremely proud of these new innovative websites.
"Not only do they provide us with the ability to service our consultants and their clients better than ever before, they provide MTA with a decisive differentiating factor which has given us a leading edge in our sector of the travel industry - both here in Australia and internationally."
