Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular, has returned this year with a magnificent display of 3 million twinkling lights. Opening its doors on Friday, November 4th, 2022, through to January 26th, 2023, families can explore over 14 hectares of breathtaking gardens. After refurbishing a few of their all-time favourite features, the Hunter Valley Gardens is shining brighter than ever, making it the perfect mid-week or weekend escape these summer holidays.
There is an assortment of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy over the three-month period. Capture the perfect holiday photo with your favourite Christmas characters, and make sure not to miss Scallywags and Friends with a show every weekend in November. Back for the first time this year, children can pen long Christmas lists and letters to Santa and post it to the North Pole at our Santa Letterbox.
Tune into the music this December with Kids Carols singing every Saturday and Sunday, along with the rocking elves performing their Christmas carols every Thursday and Friday. Reign in The New Year with your loved ones under our spectacular fireworks display at 9:00pm, December 31st. January will feature crowd favourites for both young and old at heart including Paw Patrol, Cocomelon, and Sesame Street.
Attendees will be able to enjoy the traditional family favourites that have returned this year such as the spectacular 35-metre-long Superslide for the bold and daring, accompanied by an incredible Ferris Wheel for those who want to relax and soak up the view. Swing chairs, a traditional Venetian carousel, 14m tall Christmas Tree, and spinning Teacups will make it an unmissable event.
Only a short 2-hour drive from Sydney, guests can enjoy the vast interactive space that Hunter Valley Gardens has created. This year's Christmas Light Spectacular will make you believe that you have entered a new world, one where a 2.5m illuminated snowman is normal, and the opportunity to sit on Santa's chair and enjoy Santa's playground is an everyday Christmas experience.
Guests won't go hungry during the festivities, with a delicious selection of food and beverage stalls available to choose from.
