Celebrate Australiana With Fair Dinkum Bendigo: A Taste Of Culture

In celebration of the recently launched
Australiana: Designing a Nation exhibition showcasing at the Bendigo Art Gallery until June 25, 2023, the prosperous Bendigo Region has developed an exciting three-month activation program - Fair Dinkum Bendigo: A Taste of Culture - full of fun events, experiences, tours, food creations and retail products for all to enjoy.

Coming off the bat of winning GOLD at last month’s 2022 Australian Tourism Awards for the hugely successful VIVA BENDIGO campaign last year (in celebration of the Elvis: Direct from Graceland exhibition at Bendigo Art Gallery), the Bendigo Region is eager to continue showcasing its great product and diverse experiences through this year’s Fair Dinkum Bendigo: A Taste of Culture campaign.

The Fair Dinkum Bendigo autumn program is a genuine reflection and celebration of Australian culture in all its notions of style and identity. It is an opportunity for visitors and locals alike to revel in Australian food that has shaped our culinary industry and discover fashion, design and art and has been inspired by our nation’s social and cultural history from Australia’s First Peoples to contemporary times.

Providing the perfect excuse to explore the UNESCO Creative City and Region of Gastronomy this autumn, highlights from Fair Dinkum Bendigo: A Taste of Culture include:
