Best Western launches luxury beach resort in Khao Lak, Thailand
Best Western International – the World's Largest Hotel Chain® – has announced the launch of a new luxury resort on the golden beaches of Khao Lak in southern Thailand; the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Khaolak Southsea.
Located on Thailand's glittering Andaman Coast, just an hour's drive north of Phuket, BEST WESTERN PREMIER Khaolak Southsea represents the very best of southern Thai hospitality. The 125 guest rooms are all perfectly appointed to offer incredible views of Andaman's azure waters and breathtaking sunsets.
As a BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotel - the highest of the company's three brand tiers - rooms come equipped with all the luxury trimmings one would expect from a five-star hotel, including flat-screen LCD televisions with USB ports, spacious bathrooms, minibars, and private balconies or terraces.
The modern classic design of the hotel makes the most of its tropical surroundings, with light-filled public areas and a sun-drenched outdoor swimming pool. There are also two restaurants: Anda, which offers all-day international dishes, and Chai Lay, a specialty restaurant serving the freshest local seafood and a selection of exquisite southern Thai delicacies.
"We are delighted to expand our footprint to yet another fantastic Thai tourism destination – the stunning beach resort of Khao Lak," said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International's Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East.
"The stunning shores of Khao Lak's Andaman Coast offer some of Asia's most beautiful beaches, and with a vast array of leisure facilities close-by, including world-class diving sites in the Similan and Surin Islands, this exciting destination has something to offer everyone. I am sure that luxurious BEST WESTERN PREMIER brand will be the perfect fit for these stunning surroundings," Mr. de Souza added.
The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Khaolak Southsea becomes the 16th Best Western hotel in Thailand, and with the addition of Khao Lak, Best Western is now present in no fewer than eight unique Thai destinations. It also boosts Thailand's BEST WESTERN PREMIER collection to four hotels – the most of any country in Southeast Asia.
