Fiji's first ever all villa, luxury boutique resort, Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji has received a major international accolade being named 'Best Newcomer' in the prestigious '2016 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence'.
Adding further lustre to this impressive recognition, the Pacific Harbour-based luxury property was the only South Pacific resort to win an award in any of the several categories competed for this year.
Created to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across the hotels and resorts included in the influential Condé Nast Johansens 'collection', these much admired 'Awards for Excellence' are seen as a trusted mark of quality, recognised by luxury consumers and travel professionals alike.
Finalists are determined from the combined results of online voting on the Condé Nast Johansens website, guest feedback and local expert reportage.
Acknowledging the award, Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji's director of sales and marketing, Shashita Nand said the resort and all its staff were extremely proud to have played a role in helping to create a unique Fiji resort offering.
Since opening in March last year, she said, the resort had set a benchmark and taken the destination's ability to deliver a luxury product to a whole new, world-class level.

The 2016 Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence represents yet another major feather in the Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji cap for 2015.
Earlier in the year the resort became the proud recipient of a TripAdvisor 'Certificate of Excellence.
And just recently the resort was nominated finalists in the 'Accommodation Luxury', 'Destination Marketing' and the 'Visitor Dining Experience' categories at the 'ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards' which take place in February 2016.
