The multi-million dollar marketing campaign, which launched this week, acknowledges 2020 hasn’t gone to plan and encourages Aussies to Take Two - to re-discover the beauty of their own country, re-live the experiences that they have missed, and re-visit some of their most favourite places.

This major domestic tourism marketing campaign also has the support and investment from Australia’s major tourism organisations, including Tourism Australia and all major state tourism offices across the nation, as they unite to encourage Australian’s to Holiday Here This Year.

It’s the first time Tourism Australia and Accor have partnered on a domestic campaign of this scale.

Accor Pacific Chief Executive Officer, Simon McGrath, said: “As border restrictions ease, Australians are more than ready for a take two and to enjoy the best our beautiful country. With this campaign, we hope to inspire travellers to go on the holidays they’ve been dreaming of and to reunite with their families and friends. We're delighted to be able to host travellers as they explore the world-leading holiday experiences that we have right on our doorstep.”
