ACCOR YOUR TICKET TO OLYMPIC GOLD - SIX TRIPS TO LONDON OLYMPIC GAMES TO BE WON

No need to jump through hoops to see London Olympic Games - Accor offers six trips for showing 'team loyalty'

There are few rooms, let alone tickets, for Aussies to see the best events at the 2012 London Olympic Games, but Accor, long-term supporter of the Australian Olympic Team, is offering its A|Club and Advantage Plus loyalty programme members the chance to win six trips to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

"Loyalty breeds loyalty" is a catch phrase for all successful sporting teams, and with team loyalty the key to Olympic success, Accor will reward its loyal guests with a prize pool valued at over $227,000. Each prize will consist of two return economy airfares to London, six nights' accommodation in an Accor hotel, tickets to the spectacular Opening Ceremony and four Olympic events plus airport and Olympic transfers, each worth more than $37,000.

The Olympic Games is the greatest sporting spectacle in the world and tickets to most events have sold out, so this is a rare chance for Australians to be able to support their team in green and gold.

"Having played a key role in the success of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Accor has long supported the Australian Olympic Team and we are thrilled to be able to offer this amazing range of Olympic incentives," said Simon McGrath Vice President Accor Australia. "To be there to witness the excitement of the greatest sporting event in history is something the winners will remember forever."

There are three trips for each of Accor's loyalty programmes. A|Club is a global loyalty programme that provides guests with points each time they stay at more than 2000 hotels worldwide. These points earn cash vouchers to use at Accor properties right around the world or can be converted into airline frequent flyer miles. To win one of these trips, travellers just have to join A|Club and stay at a participating Accor Australian hotel before 30 April, while existing members will win an entry for each stay at participating hotels before that date.

Advantage Plus is Accor's accommodation and food and beverage discount programme which gives members priority service, exclusive discounts at participating hotels, significant savings on dining, a complimentary night's accommodation each year of membership, regular members-only special offers and discounts on car hire, tours, attractions and events. In addition, Advantage Plus members earn higher rates of A|Club points for each stay, meaning they enjoy additional free stays more quickly. Existing Advantage Plus members will get one entry for each stay at participating hotels before 30 April and for each friend they sign up to the programme.

This competition is open only to Australian residents and is only applicable at participating Australian hotels including selected Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Grand Mercure, Mercure, all seasons, and ibis hotels.
