QantasLink has formally accepted its award as 'Regional Airline of the Year 2012' at an international ceremony in Singapore hosted by leading industry journal Air Transport World.
In accepting the award, which placed QantasLink ahead of all regional carriers globally, QantasLink's Executive Manager Narendra Kumar credited the award win to his QantasLink team.
"The prestigious award recognises the efforts of QantasLink's team of service professionals who are dedicated to connecting regional communities to the rest of Australia and the world," Mr Kumar said.
"From humble beginnings, QantasLink has grown to become Australia's largest regional carrier and we continue to expand our fleet and network to support our diverse range of customers.
"QantasLink is proud to represent Australia and is looking forward to celebrating its award win with our employees and customers throughout 2012," he said.
