It was unimaginable that a decade ago, that this series of events, 10 years later would become so successful and so widely known on the French market.
For an event to be so well supported by both our partners and the travel trade alike, over such a long span of time, goes to show that the right mixture of ingredients were used to create this perfect marketing recipe of success.
It is so important to have a dedicated Seychelles event, bringing the Seychelles into the lime light and fore front together with the help of its trade partners said Bernadette Willemin, the European Director – Seychelles Tourism Board.
This 10th anniversary edition of the Escapades Seychelles was attended by Seychelles Tourism Board France European Director: Bernadette Willemin and Jennifer Dupuy, Etihad Airways/Air Seychelles: Maryline Gallois and Laurent Couturier, Banyan Tree Seychelles: Laetitia Duchet, Constance Hotels and Resorts: Jhoan Payet, Hilton Seychelles: Devi Pentamah, Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites: Ash Behari, Domaine de l’Orangeraie and Cat Cocos: Guillaume Albert, Denis Private Island and Indian Ocean Lodge: Ravinia Larue and Melanie Félix, Desroches Island: Amanda Lang-Larue, Saint Anne Beachcomber Resort & Spa : Veronique Ibrard and Koogen Vythelingum , Bird Island : Serge Robert, Coral Strand:

As one of the partners attending this event consecutively for the past 10 years, it is overwhelming and heartwarming to see that the Escapades Seychelles still grows from strength to strength, attracting an increased number of agents, tour operators and their sales and reservations team members who are constantly interested in growing their knowledge and expertise in marketing and selling our beautiful islands said Ash Behari, Director Hotel Coco de Mer.
The Seychelles Tourism Board says that they are looking forward to another decade of hard work, dedicated motivation and success in further growing and maintaining the French market in its pole position it enjoys on the podium of successful sales to the Seychelles. The next series of this event will take place at the beginning of June 2014 and we count on the usual support and dedication of our faithful partners .
France is the tourism market where Seychelles has been investing marketing funds since tourism was launched to the mid-ocean islands. To-date France remains by far the island’s biggest tourist market and French holiday makers feel at ease as the French language remains an official language in Seychelles.
