Whales with a Contingency Plan

Keep your whale watching options open when you book with JPT Tour Group.

From the rocky headlands and beaches of Queensland's east coast earnest whale watchers can catch a glimpse of majestic whales but for the more adventurous, you can set sail on a whale finding mission with JPT Tours.

The annual migration of southern humpback whales along the east coast of Australia happens reliably every June to October and attracts thousands of visitors and locals to share in the spectacular sight.

The Gold Coast has a number of companies offering whale watching trips. These are mostly available from the Southport Broadwater via the seaway and take patrons onto the open ocean for a half day trip.
At JPT, we can offer a half day trip however we've also designed a full day whale watching trip capped off with wild dolphin feeding.

We take you across glistening Moreton Bay to Tangalooma Island for some free time to stretch your legs, sunbathe and have morning tea before the whale watching cruise. Enjoy a light lunch and the thrill of whale watching in the calm water playground of Moreton Bay before returning to Tangalooma to handfeed wild dolphins at sunset.

As a safety net, in the event that whale watching is cancelled due to wind or weather conditions, our guests can enjoy a 4WD desert safari, sand toboganning, VIP lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, buffet lunch, 40 free activities, two swimming pools and an island paradise with sunset dolphin feeding instead.

So you see, Plan B is as good as Plan A.

This year, choose JPT Tour Group for your whale watching experience.
