“Adding water-based tours to our brochure for 2016 gives Back-Roads guests the opportunity to access smaller, regional waterways and unspoilt rural scenery in some of the most amazing places in the word,” he said.
Staying true to the brands ethos, guests will be able to leave the barge throughout the day and join their local tour guide for the all-important 'Back-Roads' experience.

All vessels will feature public areas that are maximised for enjoyment, with deck space for sunbathing, as well as interior and exterior dining tables. Onboard life will be casual and social, aimed at creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
The exclusive fleet of barges have been commissioned by Back-Roads Touring for their Charming Waterways experiences, and are custom built, featuring innovative designs that allow guests to travel in comfort and style.
Vessels are exclusively chartered by Back-Roads Touring, and are accompanied by Back-Roads Tour Guides and locally trained captains and crew.
