The complete WEF tourism safety and security TOP 10 list:
1. Finland
2. Qatar
3. United Arab Emirates
4. Iceland
5. Austria
6. Luxembourg
7. New Zealand
8. Singapore
9. Oman
10. Portugal
Mona Tannous, Sultanate of Oman Tourism Country Manager Australia & New Zealand praised the accolade saying, "We're thrilled to see Oman rating highly on another important list for 2015. We started the year being featured on numerous destination hot lists and travel bucket lists, but this trumps those in many ways. And when you read through the list you can see that Oman is in very good company.
"Perceptions of safety and security affect where people choose to travel to and through. We're confident this list will play some part in reassuring travellers of what we've always known - that Oman is a welcoming, safe and breath-taking place to visit."
