Melbourne to Kangaroo Island via 12 Apostles and Crayfish Lunch
On route to Kangaroo Island we do a low level flight over the 12 Apostles before landing to take in the sights from the ground. We are met by a local guide who takes us to view the 12 Apostles followed by a trip to the Gibson Steps and Loch Ard Gorge. From here we head into Port Campbell for a local crayfish lunch matched with local wines and beer before continuing our journey to Kangaroo Island. Total flight time 1hr 30mins total.
Melbourne to Kangaroo Island via 12 Apostles and Wagyu Beef Lunch
This option also takes in the 12 Apostles by ground and air. However, for lunch we cross the border into South Australia. Visiting Mayura Station for lunch. This national award winning boutique beef producer specializes in full-blood wagyu beef and Mayura's Tasting Room offers the ultimate paddock to plate experience. Guests settle down to a 4 course meal which showcases this premium export product and the extensive wine list featuring fine Coonawarra wines. Total flight time 1hr 40mins total.
Tasmania to Kangaroo Island via 12 Apostles or Wagyu Beef Lunch
Getting from Saffire Freycinet (TAS) to Southern Ocean Lodge (SA) can be difficult! Not with Air Adventure - this tour solves the common problem of prohibitive commercial airline schedules between Tasmania and South Australia. Not only can we seamlessly transfer your guests between these two iconic Luxury Lodges, we can transform what would be a wasted day (or more likely two days) of transit, into a day of premium sightseeing. For example, depart Saffire after breakfast, fly direct to the 12 Apostles for scenic flight and ground tour combined with a gourmet, local crayfish lunch, then fly direct to Kangaroo Island arriving by 1700. This tour can operate in either direction and you can substitute the 12 Apostles ground tour with a Wagyu Beef lunch near the Coonawarra. Total flight time 2hrs 30mins total.
