Journey Beyond, Australia's leading experiential tourism group, is excited to announce that Monarto Safari Resort will join the Journey Beyond portfolio of luxury accommodations and lodges in Australia.

Journey Beyond will manage the luxury resort, which will feature 78 hotel guest rooms, a world-class spa, including treatment rooms, a thermal plunge pool, an ice bath and sauna, conference, function, and restaurant spaces, two swimming pools, and a luxury camp and lodge, when it officially opens on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.
Located within an hour's drive of Adelaide in South Australia, Monarto Safari Resort provides expansive vistas across the Mallee Plains and unique access to the new Wild Africa precinct of Monarto Safari Park. Guests can view southern white rhinoceros, cheetah, hippopotamus, zebra, giraffe, antelope and ostriches as they gather around waterholes and roam the grassland plains.
