Accor's Momentum Continues with Three New Hotels in Myanmar


Accor and Myat Min Co., Ltd have signed an agreement to develop three newly-built hotels in Myanmar - Pullman Yangon Myat Min, The Sebel Yangon Myat Min and Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min. The announcement brings Accor's Myanmar development pipeline to six projects over the next three years.

"Southeast Asia has long been a strategic market for Accor, and as Myanmar's tourism industry develops, we see significant growth potential in this country as well. With this milestone, we have announced a total of six hotel projects in Myanmar and we look forward to helping to further develop the country's tourism infrastructure in the years to come."

Pullman Yangon Myat Min will be the first Pullman hotel in Myanmar. This upscale hotel will be designed with a contemporary style, providing international-standard quality services that promise true relaxation and comfort for all types of traveller, whether business or leisure. Once complete in 2015, Pullman Yangon Myat Min will consist of 300 rooms, two restaurants and two bars, four banquet and meeting rooms, a fitness centre, swimming pool and spa facilities. The hotel is located mid-way between the city centre and Yangon International Airport.

The Sebel Yangon Myat Min will be a premium serviced apartment hotel with 100 rooms, making it perfect for guests looking for long-stay accommodations, located near Pullman Yangon Myat Min. The hotel will have a restaurant, a bar, two meeting rooms, a swimming pool and fitness centre. The property is the first development in Asia under The Sebel name, a brand of premium apartments offering guests a higher level of independence and control and an inspiring accommodation experience in stylish and spacious surroundings, supported by exemplary personable service.

Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min is an upper midscale hotel with 121 rooms located on the banks of Inle Lake, one of Myanmar's most stunning natural attractions. With state-of-the-art Novotel facilities and spacious, comfortable rooms, the hotel is designed to respond to the needs of both business and leisure travellers. Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min is scheduled to open in 2014 and will have three restaurants, two bars, a ballroom, two meeting rooms, a business centre, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and spa facilities.
