Separately, The Rang Mahal has won a Top Ten Traveller’s Choice award 2013 - best in its class, and overall winner - from TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, whose members reviewed 171 restaurants in 13 countries.

Señor Pico, ‘simply the best Mexican eatery in town’ restaurant, won the Reader’s Choice Award in the specialty cuisine category voted by Bangkok Best Dining magazine readers. Over 150,000 ballots were distributed and the voting was open from August to October 2013. Once votes were tallied, Señor Pico was clearly the 2013 winner in the specialty cuisine category reinforcing its claim as the best Mexican restaurant in Bangkok!

"We are incredibly proud of our F&B team,” said Mr Jamie Miller, the Rembrandt Hotel Manager. “They have earned the Rembrandt a worldwide reputation for its approach to food – from fine dining and special event menus through to delicious buffets and snacks. Thanks to their hard work they have set new standards for restaurants and eateries around the world,"

“The Rang Mahal is a restaurant icon, so it is incredibly rewarding to see Señor Pico gain similar recognition from world class judges after the new renovations and changes.”
