Novotel Twins Waters Resort has appointed a new Executive Chef who has orchestrated culinary experiences for political heavy weights including the Prime Minister of Australia, visiting heads of state and the King and Queen of Spain.
Born and raised in Australia, Executive Chef Steven Forrester commenced his career as a Sous chef at the Lakeside Hotel in Canberra before embarking on an international career which took him to Westminster London, Switzerland and a private VIP Chalet in France where only the finest refined French cuisine was served.

Is a self confessed foodie who loves eating, cooking, growing and reading about food. His particular passion is to create dishes using fresh seafood and sweets or desserts using chocolate.
Most recently, Steven held the position as Head Chef at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley and prior to that Head Chef at Parliament House Canberra.
While working in Canberra he was elected President of the Australian Culinary Federation, ACT Chapter which involved hosting and judging culinary competitions, presenting at industry events, organising a chef mentor program and being an industry spokesperson on various radio and TV programs.
Novotel Twin Waters Resort General Manager, Mark Wilkinson said that he was thrilled to have an Executive Chef of Steven's caliber join his team.
'Not only is he highly experienced but he is also a team player with a passion for training and developing young chefs and seeing them succeed in the industry," he said.
Chef Forrester will personally oversee the direction and operation of Novotel Twin Waters Resort's three restaurants and extensive banqueting department.
