The Named Suites of the Towers Include:
  • Cole Porter – This incredible suite, with the capability of being one to five bedrooms depending on a guest's need, was Cole Porter's residence for 30 years and Frank Sinatra's after that. The grand suite features a spacious full kitchen (the largest of all the hotel's suites), grand marble entrance foyer, luxurious molding in gold and light green, statement furniture pieces, golden sheers in the bedroom and overlooks St. Patricks Cathedral.
  • Presidential Suite - The only true Presidential Suite, this is the NYC residence of every American president since Herbert Hoover. The suite is designed to reflect the details of the White House and is appointed with the personal desk of General Douglas MacArthur and one of President John F. Kennedy's rocking chairs among other presidential artifacts
  • Royal Suite - The former Park Avenue home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, which is like entering the Windsor's French Manor House with Aubusson-inspired hand-woven floral carpets and Tiffany-blue walls with gold leaf molding
  • Penthouse – With an entry rotunda decorated with Italian murals, this suite, located on the top floor of the hotel is one of the most extravagant.   • Elizabeth Taylor – A modern look and feel with hi- technology features, large windows with streams of daylight, a piano in living room, high ceilings and views of The Chrysler Building.
  • Trianon – Resembles The Trianon Palace near Versailles with French art and golden molding detailing around the ceilings and walls. Also features a rather unique “horizontal” full bathroom.
  • Lyndon B. Johnson - President Lyndon Johnson met Pope Paul VI in this suite in 1964 and Audrey Hepburn also stayed here. The suite includes great views of the Chrysler Building with golden molding and a gold, crème and blue color scheme.
  • Winston Churchill – This English-country house styled suite features dark mahogany wooded walls in the living room giving it a more masculine feel. A gorgeous eight person dining room is complemented by a full kitchen and great views overlooking the East River.
  • Herbert Hoover – Herbert Hoover moved into this spacious suite after his term. It features a marble entrance way, green and white décor theme, piano in living room and lots of closet space.
  • Douglas MacArthur – Features a grand black and white marble foyer, spacious full kitchen and wine fridge, and stunning views overlooking both the Chrysler Building and East River. This suite has more of a masculine feel with wood finishings.
  • Prince Abdullah - With soft yellow, pink crème and green details this spacious suite is ideal for entertaining with an extremely large living room with a piano, full kitchen, and wonderful views of St. Patrick's Cathedral and East River. This suite is also decorated with interesting international art pieces.

A member of the Waldorf Astoria New York since 2007, Jackie Collens holds experience in an array of hotel functions including meeting and banquet operations manager, rooms division manager, diplomatic events manager before transitioning to this position as director of leisure sales.  Her extensive knowledge of the hotel's operations and customer base is a true advantage in her ability to successfully attract and engage clientele in the Towers sales process.  Jackie is a graduate of The School of Hospitality Business in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.  Her significant career achievements thus far include Michigan State University's Emerging Alumni of the Year (2011) and, a two-time recipient of Hilton Worldwide's Elite Circle of Excellence Award (2010 and 2011).

Jackie Carter began her hospitality career in the competitive management trainee program at Palmer House® A Hilton Hotel, with its unique exposure to each operational department.  Before her promotion to Waldorf Astoria New York in 2011, she also spent time on teams at the Hilton Chicago, Palmer House A Hilton Hotel and Conrad Chicago with a focus on corporate group sales.  She joined the sales team at Waldorf Astoria New York as a sales manager and has demonstrated superlative abilities in leisure and transient sales for the Towers.  Jackie is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration.
