‘Lights, Camera, Travel Action’ – The Travel Indochina experience from behind the lens

Building on the adage a picture is worth a thousand words, Travel Indochina has brought to life its Small Group Journey experiences through a series of new Vietnam and Cambodia Travel Videos being launched this week at http://www.travelindochina.com.au/media/travel-videos.

Covering the intricacies of transport, cuisine, responsible travel and Travel Indochina’s ‘Insider Experiences’, as well as destination highlights for Hanoi, Hoi An and Halong Bay in Vietnam, and the Temples of Angkor, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia among others, the videos are evocative visual descriptions designed to help potential travellers put themselves in the picture. The films complement a suite of videos depicting other Travel Indochina destinations.

Managing Director of Travel Indochina, Paul Hole, said the company created the videos to explain the benefits of true Small Group travelling and to illustrate the highlights of the experience in a compelling way.

“We know for many people, pictures are more evocative than simple words,” explains Paul.

“Through these behind the scenes glimpses, viewers can sense the passion of our tour leaders, the shared laughter, fun and experiences of our tours. They can understand our ethos and the intimate moments our Insider Experiences provide. They can witness what our commitment to Responsible Travel really means and how it truly is an important part of our DNA.

“Of course this is all layered over the beautiful backdrop of Vietnam and Cambodia.
“We hope this helps bring the experience as alive for them as it does for us.”

Travel Indochina has been operating Small Group Journeys to Vietnam and Cambodia for nearly 20 years, and now has 46 itineraries ranging from 6 to 27 days from which to choose, with hundreds of scheduled departures annually.

Unlike many other travel companies, Travel Indochina limits its group size to a maximum of 16 people. These smaller groups enable travellers to gain the best from both worlds – greater access to the local culture and plenty of opportunities for independent exploration.

Travel Indochina’s 20 day Vietnam and Temples of Angkor with Sapa Explorer itinerary incorporates the highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia, offering a good understanding of the region in a short time.
“What better introduction to the region could there be?” says Paul.

“Travellers are immersed in the busy city streets of Hanoi, the stunning hills in Sapa, they float on the sparkling Halong Bay and wander the peaceful lanes of Hue and Hoi An before continuing on to Saigon, a night in the Mekong Delta, and then crossing into Cambodia to discover historic Phnom Penh and the majestic temples of Angkor. It truly covers the majesty of the region.”

Priced from $4020 per person twin share, the tour includes:

16 nights hotel accommodation
1 night cruise accommodation
2 overnight trains (soft sleeper 4-berth cabin)
breakfast daily with 3 lunches and 2 dinners
4 internal flights within Asia
transport in air-conditioned vehicles (except half-day temple touring by tuk-tuk)
small group touring
entrance fees
Western tour leader based on a minimum of 7 travellers
