Carnival Corporation CEO Arnold Donald Cruises into Sydney

When Arnold Donald was recently appointed CEO of Carnival Corporation, he said he would spend the first weeks in his new role listening, to gain as much firsthand knowledge as possible of the organisation’s 
global cruise operations.

This week, Mr Donald arrived in Australia to visit Carnival Australia and learn more about the world’s fastest growing cruise market, with more than 700,000 Australians expected to be cruising this year following eight consecutive years of double digit growth.

Mr Donald was greeted on arrival at Carnival Australia’s North Sydney head office by CEO Ann Sherry, who has led the surge of cruising growth in the local market.

His visit forms part of a big week for the Carnival Australia team, who hosted a three-night Partnership Summit with more than 300 leading travel agents from Australia and New Zealand onboard P&O Cruises’ Pacific Pearl on the weekend.
