Monaco Showcases History and Speed in May

Every two years the famous Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix is preceded by the 'Historical Grand Prix'. Australia will be well represented this year with two very special historic cars travelling all the way from Australia to Monaco to take part. Bugatti owner, Consul de Monaco in Melbourne, Andrew Cannon, is excited to represent Australia in Monaco and to compete in this world-renowned event.  

Initially organized in 1997 by the Automobile Club de Monaco, this year marks the 9th edition of this biannual event which takes place from 9th to 11th May 2014, just 2 weeks before the Formula 1 Grand Prix. International car collectors and nostalgic spectators will witness the commemoration of fifty years of motor racing through seven exceptional series.  Turn back the clock and book your tickets to watch this legendary sprint race on the famous circuit of Monaco:http://www.formula1monaco.com. The Principality of Monaco will hold the 72nd Formula 1 Grand Prix this year from 22nd to 25th May. The circuit is 3.34 kilometers with 29 corners and 78 laps must be completed. This legendary and challenging course is a favourite of the world's leading racing drivers. Launched in 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix is a prestigious event that attracts visitors from all over the world. The stunningly picturesque circuit is dotted with landmark monuments such as Monaco's famous harbour - Port Hercule bejeweled with luxury yachts, the Grand Casino and the Hotel de Paris.

This year is not to be missed and may provide surprises due to the latest technical regulation changes. So, who might wrest the crown from last year's winner Nico Rosberg (Mercedes)?
