MTA - Mobile Travel Agents' brand ambassador since November 2011, sailing legend Jessica Watson OAM has committed to another two years in the role.
Announcing the news at the 'MTA – more than expected' national conference in Canberra, company managing directors Roy and Karen Merricks said they were delighted with Jessica's decision.
"We love our relationship with Jess, " the Merricks said.
"She was always our number one choice to be the face of MTA and is a perfect mirror of what we feel the MTA brand embodies.
"Throughout our close on two year association she has helped to further instill an element of freshness, adventure, values and ethics to the MTA brand - she also demonstrates all the characteristics of success that we see so readily in all of the people in our ever growing MTA family."
"This was more than evident when she addressed the MTA Members attending the national conference.
"Her 'True Spirit' presentation, the main thrust of which was based on the importance of support teams and the role they play in ensuring the success of the individual, was extremely well received.
"We are delighted she has agreed to stay with us on our journey and we are really looking forward to working with her over the coming years."
Jessica said she was very happy to be continuing with the relationship.
"As I am sure anyone could imagine, travel takes up a huge part of my life – be that on a personal basis or as part of one of the many projects I am involved in including the United Nations World Food Program and other charities," she said.
"So it's very important to be associated with a travel expert who can get it right for me every time and MTA certainly delivers on that account.
"More to the point, the MTA team are a very welcoming crowd and I love being a part of the MTA family."
