Leading luxury experiential travel company &Beyond yesterday received top honours in no less than six categories at the World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony, held in Nairobi, Kenya. The company was named Africa's Leading Game Reserve Brand and a number of its exceptional lodges and camps were honoured for their commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.The awards for Botswana's Leading Safari Lodge and Leading Tented Safari Camp went to &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge and &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp respectively. Situated in the prestigious Sabi Sand Game Reserve, &Beyond Leadwood Lodge was named South Africa's Leading Safari Lodge. &Beyond's East African circuit also received recognition, with &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge named Tanzania's Leading Safari Lodge and the barefoot paradise of &Beyond Mnemba Island singled out as Zanzibar's Leading Resort.
In addition, &Beyond has also been nominated for two global awards, which will be handed out at the event's Grand Final in Doha, Qatar on November 30. The company is in the running to be named World's Leading Conservation Company, while &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge has been nominated as the World's Leading Luxury Lodge.
