Rail Europe is happy to announce that a new and revamped Eurail Select Pass will be on sale as of 1 April 2014 and will include France as an option.

As part of this fresh Eurail Select Pass offering, the Eurail Select Pass three- and five-country Pass will be discontinued, leaving the four-country Eurail Select Pass to service rail travellers' needs.

While only the new four-country Eurail Select Pass will be on offer from 1 April 2014, the three- and five-country Passes would still be issued until 31 March 2014, with the current validity for use based on the terms and conditions applied.

From 1 April, the Eurail Select Pass will offer travel to any four bordering countries out of 26 countries around Europe. The Pass' existing prices and validities (five, six, eight or 10 days of travel within two months) will remain as is.

Welcoming the return of France into the Eurail Select Pass, CEO of Rail Europe, Fabrice Morel, says with the country being one of the most popular destinations in Europe, travellers will no doubt greatly benefit from this reunion by way of increased flexibility with their travel plans.

The return of France in the Eurail Select Pass offering complements Rail Europe's current portfolio of passes (Eurail Global Pass, Eurail Regional Pass, France Rail Pass) and French 'Point-to-Point' tickets, which now caters to all travellers' needs.
