The 10th ITE HCMC welcomes buyers with a blaze of lights on the river

Celebrating its 10 year anniversary the annual ITE HCMC kicked off on Tuesday evening with a welcome dinner on the luxurious Elisa Seafood Floating Restaurant.

The event was attended by all leading dignitaries from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand along with over 200 buyers from key markets.

Everyone was treated to a fantastic light show from all the tourist river boats that lasted for around 20 minutes and with over 50 boats from small to large all decorated with different lights. The sight of all these lights on these water craft kept everyone entertained with a lot of selfies being taken.

Then later in the evening all the guests were treated to further entertainment from a Vietnamese quartet that were playing all traditional musical instruments.

And the end of the evening many of the buyers then left the day’s events behind by joining in with the late night party.
