Bhaya Cruises Introduces Ha Long Bay Destination Weddings

Bhaya Cruises Introduces Ha Long Bay Destination Weddings

Bhaya Cruises is promoting bespoke destination weddings aboard its luxury vessels in Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ha Long Bay.

The offering ranges from private elopements to larger celebrations with family and friends, with ceremonies staged while cruising among the bay’s limestone islands and emerald waters.

The recently launched Bhaya Soul, which has 20 suites, is aimed at smaller weddings and intimate groups. The Au Co provides a larger venue with an Indochine-inspired design, while Bhaya Legend is available for full private charter, with customised itineraries and dedicated onboard service.

Each wedding is coordinated by a cruise manager and can include tailored styling, dining, wellness activities, live entertainment and multi-day sailing programs. Couples can also combine the ceremony with visits to different parts of Ha Long Bay.

The concept reflects growing interest in destination weddings that move beyond conventional beach resorts and private-island settings. By combining accommodation, ceremony space, dining and sightseeing on one vessel, the cruises are designed to offer a more contained and personalised celebration.

Bhaya Cruises is positioning the experience for couples seeking a luxury wedding in Asia with a strong sense of place and fewer logistical demands than a land-based event spread across multiple venues.

The company says itineraries can be adjusted to suit different group sizes, ceremony styles and lengths of stay. For couples looking for privacy, the private-charter option provides exclusive use of the vessel throughout the celebration.

The new wedding packages add another dimension to Ha Long Bay’s appeal as a leisure destination, extending its role beyond sightseeing cruises to small-scale events and multi-day celebrations.
