Qatar Airways resumes Adelaide flights, restoring South Australia link to global network

Qatar Airways
has resumed flights to Adelaide, restoring a direct connection between South Australia and the airline's global network via Doha.

The service, which recommenced on 15 June, links Adelaide with more than 160 destinations through Hamad International Airport. The route continues to Auckland, providing additional trans-Tasman connectivity between Australia and New Zealand.

Flights are operated by Boeing 777 aircraft equipped with Starlink WiFi, offering onboard internet access throughout the journey.

The return of the route expands Qatar Airways' Australian network and restores a direct international service to Adelaide following a period of absence from the South Australian market.

The airline said passengers travelling on the route will have access to its Qsuite Business Class product, as well as inflight dining options developed in partnership with Australian chef Ross Lusted. Business Class customers will also be offered a recently introduced cocktail and mocktail menu created by mixologist Lorenzo Antinori.

Qatar Airways was named World's Best Airline at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, where it also received awards for World's Best Business Class, Best Airline in the Middle East and Best Business Class Lounge.

The airline's Privilege Club loyalty programme was also recognised at the 2026 WeMoney Travel Awards, receiving Frequent Flyer Program of the Year for a second consecutive year.

The resumption of Adelaide services strengthens Qatar Airways' presence in Australia and provides South Australian travellers with additional long-haul travel options via Doha.
