Guests and locals alike will delight in this romantic meal inspired by the annual Festival and the rich culinary traditions of the region.
“Celebrate the Flower Festival with your loved one at Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa,” said Chef Scott Flaxman.  “We’ve created a magical evening for two with delicious, locally-inspired cuisine and a magical setting in the intimate environs of the resort.”
Tucked away in a luxurious Thai manor near Chiang Mai’s rich cultural attractions, Sireeampan Boutique Resort & Spa is an intimate 11-suite resort offering individually curated experiences for guests.  Blending together the rich traditions of Siamese hospitality with modern luxury, the resort features a cozy cloister of buildings that are encircled by lush gardens with 11 exquisitely appointed private guest suites, a full-service restaurant, a stylish piano lounge and wine cellar, and fully-equipped state-of-the-art fitness and business centers.
Inspired by the Thai word for “marriage,” Sayomporn Restaurant is an intimate dining venue with a choice of indoor seating and lush, outdoor garden terraces.  Under the direction of Chef Scott Flaxman, Sayomporn has created a special set menu for two to celebrate the famed Flower Festival.  The romantic meal starts with a Nasturtium Salad – an homage to flowers with Nasturtium petals, leaves and seeds tossed with shredded smoked duck and pickled caper dressing.  Next, a chilled Gazpaccio Amuse Bouche made with cucumber, pepper, shallot and tomato refreshes the taste buds. For the main course, a mouthwatering Rack of Lamb is served with beetroot jus, a selection of summer and sweet peas, and lemon-pine nut new potatoes.  The sweet finish includes a Chevre Cheesecake made with goat cheese, balsamic strawberries and iced strawberry water or Lavendar Shortbread.  The set price is B2,500 plus tax and service charge; advance reservation is required.
