Reflecting on the birth of this brand in the mid-90s to today’s transformation, Dato’ Mark Yeoh, Executive Director of YTL Hotels said, “When the prospect of starting a city hotel came up in 1995, YTL recognised that the market in Kuala Lumpur was ripe for the smart, stylish accommodation targeted at business travellers that we envisioned; thus, we seized the opportunity.”
For business meetings and social events the Vistanas offer a range of options and services to make each event a success including: Vistana Kuala Lumpur Titiwangsa’s 12 meeting rooms and 330-seater banquet room, Vistana Kuantan City Centre’s eight meeting rooms and 480-seater ballroom room, and Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul’s 10 meeting rooms and 500-seater ballroom room.
Their strategic locations provide ease of travel for business travellers and meetings and incentive travellers:
  • The Vistana Kuala Lumpur Titiwangsa, close to Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Bukit Bintang.
  • The Vistana Kuantan City Centre, close to the Indera Mahkota Industrial Area, Kuantan Port and the famous Teluk Cempedak.
  • The Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul’s, close to Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, Subterranean Penang International Convention and Exhibition Centre (SPICE), Bukit Jambul Complex and Penang Golf Club.
Since the opening of the Vistana Hotel Kuala Lumpur in 1995, followed by Vistana Penang and Kuantan in 1999, the company has strived to evolve the brand to suit the needs and trends of travellers. YTL Hotels has also since grown to encompass 24 properties across the globe, including the award-winning private island Pangkor Laut Resort.
