The world's biggest cruise conference Cruise3Sixty sailed into Sydney today marking its first international deployment.
While Cruise3Sixty has been a major annual event in the United States for the past 10 years, today's event marked the first time the conference had been held outside of North America reflecting Australia's growing importance on the world cruise scene.
Cruise3Sixty Australasia featured an array of leading cruise industry experts as well as Global CLIA President Christine Duffy, New South Wales Ports Minister Duncan Gay and a special appearance by The Love Boat actor Gavin MacLeod who received an enthusiastic reception from the adoring audience.
Organised in partnership with Australia's leading cruise industry publication, Cruise Weekly (a division of Travel Daily) and TravelTrends, the company behind the highly successful TravelTech and No Vacancy conferences, Cruise3Sixty Australasia was attended by more than 350 delegates and held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney.
The sell-out conference provided the latest information for specialist cruise travel agents, cruise lines and other industry stakeholders keen to gain a greater insight into where the industry is headed in the near future.
Pictured at the conference is Carnival Australia CEO Ann Sherry, CLIA Australasia Chairman and Royal Caribbean Managing Director Gavin Smith and CLIA President and CEO Christine Duffy.
