NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organisation, today announced the appointment of The Walshe Group as the representative agency for Australia and New Zealand, handling sales, marketing and public relations in the region.
The Walshe Group, with its head office in Sydney, will work with NYC & Company to strengthen New York City’s reach as a primary brand and destination for travelers from Australia and New Zealand.

In 2013, New York City welcomed 619,000 visitors from Australia and 26,000 from New Zealand. Australia and New Zealand remain a strong source of international visitors to New York City, ranking within its top five overseas markets.
